Onago Fly Smart Nano Drone Review http://www.DadDoes.Com A very disappointing first look at the OnagoFly Drone ($250). Long story short, do not buy this drone. Incredible promise, very poor results. Ours stopped working after 5 flights.

Quick update. It has been over a month since we first tried contacting OnagoFly. We have sent 8 emails to support, tried 7 different times to call customer service - voice mail always full. We have left comments on their Indiegogo campaign. To date, we received zero response from any of the 8 emails sent to support@onagofly.com. We received one email from someone who was on the "social media" team (came from a gmail account). He asked for my contact info so he could have someone contact me. I supplied it. That was 2 weeks ago, never heard from anyone. This is the problem. OnagoFly keeps posting message - "If you have problems, just contact support". They do NOT reply and I am sure others here could back me up on this. We recently reviewed this Hubsan FPV Quadcopter - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nm6ua2QF-OU much better drone at half the price. It does not have obstacle avoidance or follow me, but turns out the OnagoFly does not have this features either.

Why not reach out to everyone else whose experienced the same results and file a class action lawsuit...it's not like these things are cheap.

Hey thanks for doing this review. I made my "No" decision when I saw real onboard video from this little quad. One would think if they planned to market something like this they would do some fine tuning of the PIDs. I've beem building my own multirotors for about 6 years now and all the footage I've seen seems to indicate unstable flight characteristics. I have a cheap Hubsan micro quad that takes much better video than this one does. Also wondered how good of a GPS antenna would be able to fit in that small package (the thicker ones acquire faster and hold more birds). All the best!

Even if all it's features worked as advertised, I would not have gotten it due to the poor stability making the video shaky. For the money, you should look at what I got for Christmas, the Blade Chroma. Fantastic quad that does everything I would want from a video quad, and for the money, it or the Yuneek q500 really can't be beat. I have some irons in the fire now using technology I've discovered. But this time, I'll not let anyone tell me "It can't be done" or "who would want/buy that".

Thanks for watching and commenting. Yep, the video really is a deal breaker. Obviously nowhere close to what they showed in their promo. We are playing around with a Hubsan 107D and agree with you - hard to see how the OnagoFly is better in any way.

I was one of the first people to receive one and I'll tell you this thing is a piece of garbage. It can barely fly and many of the functions that they promised don't work at all. Stay away from this drone stay away from this company save your money.

I find it hilarious you even felt the need to make this video, it was INSTANTLY obvious from their sales propaganda (the impossibly stable footage without 3 axis gimbal, and people 'reviewing' a product that didn't exist) that this was a con.  I actually complained to IndieGoGo right at the start of the campaign to be told it was being 'investigated' - they never shut it down though... IndieGoGo are just as bad.

okay, that makes me sad! i was part of this campaign and thought why not helping them with that super drone! i am still waiting for mine and as soon as i have mine i'm gonna do a video with the pov of the drone... i guess everybody will feel quite dizzy, haha :-)

I crowd-funded the Onagofly Nano Drone in March but didn't see any reviews until well past my 10 day window for a full refund from Indegogo. I contacted Onagofly via e-mail as to a refund and they took ten days to answer...they informed me that I could get a refund but it would be only 80% of what I paid...I sent several more emails each taking over a week to yield a reply....the customer service leaves something to be desired. If your video isn't enough of a warning let my experience help warn-off would be purchasers...the Onagofly Nano Drone is definitely not ready for prime time...it's expensive, doesn't work as described and you would be better off ordering something from Banggood.com .... :-)
