Madeira sponge cake recipe

Ingredients
240 g unsalted butter
200 g. caster sugar
100 ml. Milk
3 eggs,
250 g plain flour
16 g baking powder


How to make it

We place the butter (at room temperature) with the sugar in the mixer. Beat until you obtain a soft mixture then you have to add the eggs one by one. Each time you add an egg you must add a tablespoon of flour too. Next you add the rest of the flour and the baking powder, finally you have to add the milk.

Bake it in the oven for 40 minutes at a temperature of 170 ºC
