This is a personal exercise in facial animation, starring The Joker from the Batman series. It's not entirely finished - when I manage to find enough "free time" to revisit this piece, I want to improve the hair (and make it react to movement), give him properly simulated cloth, and build the model out to include hands. But the main point of this piece was the face itself, so I hope you enjoy it for what it is.
For those that have asked, this was done in 3DS Max. Lipsyncing was done using the technique in Jason Osipa's book, 'Stop Staring'. The book was written for Maya but the technique is easily translated for Max.
