Annie Carpenter (www.anniecarpenter.com) at yogitoes office in Santa Monica.

Check out the CD Annie mentions.. "relaxDEEPLY" (yogitoes.com/relaxdeeply)

FUN FACT: 75% of yogitoes head office have done a yoga teacher trainings with Annie including yogitoes founder, Susan Nichols!! If you ever get the opportunity to train with her, DO IT! she is an absolutely incredible teacher, mentor, and person!

Annie has been practicing yoga for over 30 years and continues to marvel at the power this ancient practice has to move us from our small fearful selves into the creative and loving beings we actually are. Known as a teachers teacher, Annie leads teacher trainings, workshops and retreats, and mentors young teachers in Los Angeles and abroad. She believes that focusing on alignment and the movement of breath and prana provide points of dharana or gateways to inner stillness and peace. Annie has a playful spirit and encourages a balance between concentrated effort, and a light, joyful exploration into ones own practice, into the awareness of ones true nature.

"Although our culture tends to shrink yoga to mean only the physical, asana element I believe that yoga truly is a shamanic path, capable of leading us through transformation on all levels. Yoga reminds us what is real, and thus who we are -- the light radiating from within." - AC
