This epicness deserves a Like and Favorite :D. I plan on doing faster attempts in the future, and possibly with the Hardcore Enderdragon Mod. To celebrate a full complete attempt, I decided to upload the full clip without any parts. Show this video to everyone you can, and show that I'm the fastest time out there as of this video. My fastest time so far: 1 hour and 26 minutes. I believe I'm the first person to complete a hardcore speed run and kill the enderdragon in the fastest time ever.
**** Near the end, I put on a pumpkin that had a texture (samus from metroid) that gave me a greater view with the pumpkin compare to the vanilla. In my own rules I stated that texture packs that didn't give an advantage could have been used. The thing is that I almost never used a pumpkin on my head, and I was thinking of this stragagy to avoid the enderman in the end. The thing is that a pumpkin is not needed, because all you need is water. I have done many other enderdragon videos with just a iron helm and I did fine. So even though I used the textured packed pumpkin, it wouldn't have made a huge difference. Sorry if you felt that it was cheating, but to completely disregard the whole speed run because I didn't think about the pumpkin texture because hand is something that just doesn't feel right. I hope you can still appreciate the hard work that went into making of this video. Future runs won't have a pumpkin because I simply don't need it.****
This was my 8th attempt on this speed run, and halfway though this particular video, my family were asleep. I continued the recording past 12 am and was able to finish it.
The goal of this series is to start a new world and try to kill the enderdragon as fast as you can.
Rules of the Series:
Hardcore Survival Speed Run rules
1) Must play on hardcore
2) Must spawn a random world
3) Constant recording, no breaks, however multiple videos are ok
4) No mods
5) Has to be on the current real release of minecraft
6) Only modification you can do with the game are stuff that won't give you an advantage in playing (texture packs so long as they are not xray, shaders mod)
