Alpha Cleaning Company provides floor cleaning, stripping, scrubbing, buffing and waxing services to the commercial buildings located in Vernon Hills, Lincolnshire IL and other nearby areas.
In this video we show how we strip and wax the floor. We always start by preparing the room for the cleaning. First of all we (or the customer) move the furniture. After that we sweep or dust mop the floor. Then we apply stripper to the floor and let it sit for a few minutes. Now the actual cleaning starts. One person strips off the old finish with the help of stripping machine while another person cleans baseboards and edges with baseboard stripper, pads and scrapers. After that we pick up all the dirty solution from the floor with a wet vac. Depending on the condition of the floor we usually have to repeat the above steps 3-4 times in order to remove all wax buildup. After all wax is stripped off we neutralize the floor with neutral cleaner and dry it with air fans. Finally we apply high quality commercial floor finish to the floor. We usually apply 4-6 coats of wax depending on the desired level of gloss the customer wants to achieve.
We clean many types of floor surfaces: VCT (vinyl tile), terrazzo, quarry tile, tile and grout, epoxy and concrete. Also we clean carpet, windows and provide regular commercial cleaning services.
