15 Years Old $15 Million Raised -- Change For Good Proves Its Worth.
The Change For Good campaign marked its 15th birthday with a photographic exhibition, due to be seen by 600,000 people and a fundraising cycle between the Aer Lingus bases.
A partnership between UNICEF Ireland and Aer Lingus, the campaign has raised $15 million (€11.5 million) since its inception in 1997. The exhibition is of photographs from a visit by Aer Lingus ambassadors to Zambia to help out with UNICEF Ireland's work with children in the country earlier this year. So successful has the campaign been that Aer Lingus has agreed to collect change on all of its flights from the 24th of May to the 1st of June. This will mark the campaign's birthday and support the fundraising cycle being undertaken by Aer Lingus cabin crew member Brian Rutter.
Brian, who also took the photographs that form the exhibition, will complete a week-long cycle between all the Aer Lingus bases in Ireland, including Dublin, Cork, Shannon and Belfast.
