During the wiring installation process of buildings there is often a problem to see which cable appertains to the cable boxes. That's important when you want to do drilling operations on a wall. The cable tracker PCE-180 CB consists of a signal transmitter, a high sensible receiver. The signal transmitter will be connected to the cable box and sends a signal into the cable. With the signal receiver, due to the radiation, the cable or rather the conductor will be tracked. Thus, you will be able to determine the run of the cable without voltage and a possible open circuit without damaging the isolation or rather to destruct the wall and cable channels. On the cable tracker/receiver the volume as well as the sensitivity is adjustable. All standard electric conductions, network- and coax cables can be determined. In order to connect, the sound amplitude has got alligator clips and a network connector. The receiver is also compatible with other sound amplitudes for cable tracking.
