This high-speed video of a male Club-winged Manakin is part of research done by Kimberly S. Bostwick. It shows a male making a violin like sound to impress the females by vibrating its wings 107 times per second. That's faster than a hummingbirds wingbeats and even faster than was previously thought to be possible for a vertebrate!
