The students at Leadership Public Schools -- College Park in Oakland, California created a micro rc car club and built two tracks on a tight budget. This is their second track -- typical "L" shape. The two tracks can be combined and students can make what ever shape they like and it would be big enough to fill an entire classroom. Both tracks costs $160 grand total to make and we used plans from DadsFunPage.com. This video is the first time the track was driven on or raced on. The students do not have experience driving on this track or this surface, but did well for their first time. For some students this was their first time ever driving. To learn more about our track or club, please visit our FaceBook page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Fast-Fu... Or our school website: http://leadps.org/our-schools/college... We are hopeful that other high school clubs will form clubs as well and build tracks and maybe some day we can race.
