Listen as Penn students, in their own words, talk about what it means to be at Penn, and why financial aid is so important. Hear their stories -- their backgrounds, their experiences at Penn, and their confidence to go out and change the world.
As Penn President Amy Gutmann puts it, "Penn students imagine great things for themselves, and great things are possible for them at Penn. Penn opens doors for them, and they enter, and they do amazing things -- they truly realize their potential."
Gutmann continues: "At Penn, diversity and excellence go together. First, diversity equalizes opportunity for students who come from diverse backgrounds. Secondly, it enriches the educational experience of all students to be among a diverse student body. And thirdly, and perhaps most important, it allows us to educate leaders for all sectors of society."
