Music is universal, people should've learned that by now. R.I.P Luke, Ciaran, Ronnie, and Barney. And long live John, may his last days be filled with happiness, and when he finally does move onto Fiddler's Green, I'm sure the lads will be there, waiting for him.

As a Polishman, I feel a spiritual kinship to the Irish, especially in the struggle for self-determination in face of invasions and subjugation, through the last century. I can't think of a singer who more powerfully embodies the Irish spirit than Kelly. And what a performer, exhorting the audience with his "Let's Hear Ya!"s. I've watched this more than other video on Youtube, it really tugs at me. R.I.P. this legendary bard.

Few people have the gift or ability to personify the soul of their country, Luke had it in spades, and a young Christy at 2.27 sees it.
