Josh Greenwood of greenwoodironworks.com and a striker forging a leaf on an 325 pound 18th century German Church Windows anvil. This industrial size anvil somehow survived centuries of use and terrible wars in almost perfect condition. It was found recently, hidden in a late 18th century barn in a little town near Koeln Lindental. There was an early forge next to the barn that was destroyed during World War II. Probably this anvil was hidden in the barn from the invading Allied forces.
