SUVA: The coming release of the 45 Fijian peacekeeping soldiers held captive in Syria has been announced by Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) chief Brigadier-General Mosese Tikoitoga. At the army training school in Vatuwaqa, Bri-Gen Tikoitoga said the release comes as “good news”. NOTE: Since the military chief made these statements, the RFMF has retracted its claim of an early release. Reporter: Alistar Kata for Pacific Scoop. Pacific Media Centre, AUT University.
