I went to hear 3 Palestinian Women tell what life is like in Palestine. All went reasonably well (Each person has a different coloured ID card with different rights, and there are checkpoints and arrests everywhere) until the organiser played a DVD revealing the suffering of the Jews and the Holocaust, at which point I spoke my mind, yet the Palestinians maintained their composure. I paraphrased Ahmedinejad: "Even if there was a holocaust what has it got to do with the Palestinians." I thought how we are all raised on this suffering Jew narrative, and now it is necessary for the Arabs to also be force fed with it. When is enough enough?
