You'll now see how the center piece of an 18th century castle clamp is being hand wrought. 1. The back of the arrow (=center piece) is being cleaved. 2. The cleaved extremities are being drawn out. 3. For the arrow head the section is being tapered, i.e. being drawn out to a point. 4. The "V" form of the arrow head is being prepared. 5. Arrowhead and arrow match perfectly.
