The Independent, Electoral and Boundaries Commission has allowed political parties to inspect its electronic voter transmission systems as one of the means to ensure the nomination process is free and fair. IEBC CEO James Oswago says they have put in place measures to ensure no official of the electoral body tampers with the results saying such an offence would attract severe penalties. Meanwhile, Chief Justice Dr. Willy Mutunga has told political parties and disgruntled aspirants in Thursday's nominations to utilize existing dispute resolution mechanisms before heading to the courts.
