LEHIGH COUNTY, PA - At 21:47 hours on Monday, December 6, Lehigh County 911 dispatched Northwestern Rescue - Stations 10 (Germansville), 17 (New Tripoli) and 71 (Northwestern EMS) with North Whitehall Rescue - Utility 1651 (Neffs) and Rescue 2241 (Schnecksville) to State Route 309 and Lochland Road for a motor vehicle accident with rescue. New Tripoli Chief 1701 went responding immediately upon dispatch and was advised of a vehicle on its side with two people still inside and unknown extent of injuries. Northwestern 7183 went responding and was advised of updated information stating the accident would be a van on its side with two people confined. 1701 arrived on the scene and confirmed the confinement and established 309 Command. Tanker 1021 was the first unit on scene followed by Rescue 1741. Units were advised to set up lighting and then stabilize the vehicle.
