General Patraeus had some technical problems getting his message out of demanding that war continue in Iraq.

Interesting commentary happens at around 5 minutes into the clip.

If there was ever a video statement on just how badly the Occupation is going, it is this display of incompetence at all levels.

Looks and sounds like a Chinese Fire Drill!

How many Congressmen does it take to fix a microphone? Zero--they are totally clueless!

I like the fact that it gives a more human element of the congressional ordeal... rather then just watching a bunch of "authorities" sitting around like they are perfect... now we can see into the real inner workings and ways they behave as individuals.
man I am embarrased to say that Ike is my Rep. Hey Ike just because Petraeus' mic wasn't working, yours was.....and you were LIVE on C-Span! Good Grief.....
Ike is such a dick!
yes, you said patraeus shouldnt be charged because he was following orders. and i agree. did i misunderstand your comments?
Chubby im with you. This is war, no sleep and multiple tours is what soldiers live for. They are trained repeatedly for this. Of course you wouldnt know that, because your probably sitting at home on your fat democratic ass with a pink hat on. By the way, over 75% of the soldiers have VOLUNTARILY gone for multiple tours in iraq. moron.
Because it was not a "popular sell," the neocons were obliged to invent any number of implausible Brothers Grimm stories about weapons of mass destruction, all of it claptrap lies, not that such lies carry a burden of responsibility as most Americans apparently don't mind that the decider-commander guy is a pathological liar.
I think you leftists are pretty sad if all you can attack are the technical problems of the hearing rather than the General's context. I've yet to actually see one. However, keep it up, because your ignorance in regards to military knowledge is amusing.
I'm embarrassed.
