Archie Carr, famed environmentalist & turtle specialist is remembered in this homage to his immersive instructional experience in the Ocala National Forest. Using the Carr family cabin as a springboard and a portal into the wonders of the Ocala National Forest, Bob Simons, an Archie protege, recants stories of Archie's student excursions into the forest.
A sequel to the highly acclamied "Celebrating a Forgotten Place: the Carr Family Cabin in the Florida Scrub", the film visits the now restored cabin and talks with the Ray Willis from the Ocala National Forest Service along with Master Craftsman Jeff Penuel and one of Archie's sons, Archie Carr III. The film is also narrated by Archie's daughter, Mimi Carr.
