Faith & Freedom: Thursday March 29, 2012
Mat Staver and Matt Barber reported that the United Nations high commissioner of human rights, Navanethem ("Navi") Pillay, caused delegates from 57 countries in Africa, Asia and the Middle East to walk out of and protest the second largest United Nations center housed in the Palais des Nations in Geneva.
What did Pillay express that led to such a protest? Paraphrased, she stated that homosexual rights should trump freedom of religion, freedom of conscience and democratic principles. At that point, UN delegates said they had enough of "sexual orientation and gender identity."
How did the United States and European countries respond? Watch and listen now!
