Eliza Dushku starred and co-produced "Dollhouse" which was created by her old Buffy bud Joss Whedon. The two were discussing her experience as an actress, in becoming many different types of characters over her career, and came up with the idea for the show as a metaphor.
Dushku's co-stars on the series, which ran for two seasons until 2010, included such Whedonverse alumni as Amy Acker, Summer Glau, Alan Tudyk, Felicia Day, Alexis Denisof and Fran Kranz of "The Cabin in the Woods". The major characters were played by Olivia Williams, Harry Lennix, Tahmoh Pinikett, Dichen Lachman, Enver Gjokaj and Miracle Laurie.
