After a day of protests in Alexandria Egypt, sparked by anger and sadness about the recent killing of Khalid Said, allegedly beaten to death by police near his home, thousands of youth from across the country follow a Facebook call to stand in silence and solidarity. They stood along the Alexandria coast shore separated by 5 meters each (in order to avoid getting arrested for illegal group gatherings under Egypt's Emergency Law). Ayman Nour and Muhammad Al Baradei were among the people who participated. This clip reveals a small representative portion of the masses of youth that lined the Cornish for this event on June 25, 2010.
