Stephens Scown Solicitors is a Top 200 UK law firm with three offices across Devon and Cornwall in the south-west of England. Faced with deregulation and greater competition in the UK legal sector, the firm moved to hosted Unified Communication (UC) as a Service. UC allows the firm's solicitors literally to take service out to clients - whether they are working from Court or at the client's location. Furthermore, the modular nature of ShoreTel Unified Communication allowed easy integration with the firm's practice management system. This means that solicitors have all the information about the client's matter at their fingertips rather than before where there was heavy reliance on paper-based systems. The move to hosted UC as a Service is saving an estimated 4.5 man days of time each month, enabling the firm to enhance service while being more efficient at the same time.
