Yorkshire Sculpture Park is the largest (and first) park of its kind in the UK and is home to some of the most prolific artworks from internationally acclaimed artists. The park itself was founded by Peter Murray, a pioneering art teacher and is now in its 40th year running. It is situated in West Bretton, Wakefield, which is particularly fitting as it is a few miles away from where some of Britain's greatest sculptors, Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth, lived.

Peter Murray was always interested in "the idea of making art accessible. "I liked the idea of putting the arts in alternative spaces and places," he explained to the BBC. So as part of Canvas' hyperlapse series of public free art we are making YSP accessible to those that might not be able to access that part of the country.
