A bus falls through a large crater in northern Brazil and is then was suddenly carried away by rushing flood water on Monday.

The passengers escaped from the bus before it was swallowed up by the massive hole that had formed in a road. The accident happened in the northern Para state on a road near the cities of Itaituba and Ruropolis.
