At the 2012 CGI America Meeting, Bob Moritz announces a new CGI America Commitment to Action by PricewaterhouseCoopers.
EARN YOUR FUTURE: BOOSTING FINANCIAL LITERACY AND YOUTH EDUCATION In 2012, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) made a five-year commitment to address youth education, with a focus on financial literacy, impacting 2.5 million youth and educators in the US. Through an investment of $160 million-composed of $60 million in cash donations and one million service hours, worth $100 million-PwC will prepare educators and youth with financial literacy training to help young people make responsible decisions and ultimately contribute to a healthier US economy. To fulfill this commitment PwC US is working alongside a variety of local and national nonprofit partners, including Donorschoose.org, Feeding America and Junior Achievement to distribute its financial literacy curriculum, train teachers and mentor students.
