We are pleased to invite you to the Sudan Peace Concert on 7 January 2010, an event to mark the country's historical referendum while promoting a message of solidarity and peace amongst all Sudanese.

January will be a momentous turning point for the people of South Sudan as well as Sudan as a whole. The Peace Concert is a celebration of the people's right to self-determination and a call for all Sudanese to stand together regardless of the outcome to build a peaceful and prosperous future for everyone.

The event will unite all our communities with musicians, artists and poets in a message of peace and hope. It is an opportunity to take pride in our diverse cultures, ethnicities, religions and social backgrounds. Performers hail from across Sudan and consist of both established artists and Sudanese youth. Highlights include Sultan Clintone, Adrob, Mista-D, Al-Nair, Mohamad Araki, artwork from Khalid Kodi and much more.

The Sudan Peace Concert is a collaboration between Sudanese youth and community groups who have come together in the spirit of peace. We call on you to join us on January 7th.
