2011 03 25 -afternoon - CCUSD Quad-Campus area in Culver City, California. Schools located near the intersection of Farragut Drive and Elenda Street are Culver City High School (with Adult School), Culver City Middle School, Farragut Elementary School and CCUSD Office of Child Development Center for Early Education -- some 4,000 students with about 26% coming from outside of the Culver City Unified School District. Videos are produced to be provided to Culver City Police Department, Culver City Council, Culver City Manager and the CCUSD School Board to document unsafe traffic conditions that exist in the area. Two students have been involved in pedestrian vs. vehicle accidents on Farragut Drive ( http://www.thefrontpageonline.com/art... ) and one on Elenda near Garfield within about the last three years. There are Stop Signs at every intersection, posted Speed Limit is 25 MPH and parking has some restriction on nearly every street near the complex -- i.e. 10700 block of Farragut is Permit Parking from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM Monday through Friday -- Elenda is 3 minute Loading zone in front of Culver High School.
