Lets do a virtual tour of our c.p.bourg factory based in Belgium, Europe.
1. Start of the factory tour:
"C.P. Bourg was founded on the 15th of December in 1960 by Christian-Pierre Bourg. The company started with six employees and today we are more than 300 in Ottignies-Belgium and 500 world-wide.
We have over 25,000 m2 of factory floor space, consisting of:
R&D, metal workshop, perfect binding/booklet making/OEM production - assembly lines, painting lines, warehouse, shipping and packaging, testing, machining workshop, quality control, metal cutting, bending and welding workshop."
2. Station 1 -- We build the machines from the ground up:
C.P. Bourg is vertically integrated and everything is made in Belgium. We have more than 50 years of expertise in advanced technology from mechanics to electronics. Starting from a metal plate, which goes through a modern manufacturing process, we arrive at a finished product. We use high precision laser cutting and metal punching machinery to produce robust machine structures.
3. Painting Line
The machines are painted at the factory, in more than 80 colors. To ensure the highest quality of finished products, we use an efficient blend of manual labor and robotics. All parts are automatically transported.
4. Assembly Lines
We produce a few thousand machines per year on more than 25,000 m2 and 20 manufacturing lines.
5. Testing packaging of machines
Each machine is subject to several stress tests before it is packaged for delivery. A unique serial number allows for quality control and follow up.
