No no, Americans liked it. It was clearly the French, the only people I'd suspect would harbor ill will to Canadians, as they hate everyone that isn't French, and even then they still hate some Frenchmen.

The reason why many of the Canadian accomplishments are being non American is because everybody else thinks that Canada is just like the United States. And we as Canadians are proud of the fact that we're different.

+mickpork I don't know about that but I always seem to meet good people from New Zealand when playing online =p

Canada is nothing like America...I think Canadians and Australians have more in common then Canadians and Americans...

When Molson was actually owned by a Canadian Company. Yeah it shows that they are now owned by Americans from the stupid commercials

Why do Canadians suffer such a serious inferiority complex? I'm Canadian. I remember back in the day being all PROUD of this but now ha I've lived in several different countries, I wonder why Canada's identity is based so much around being "NOT AMERICAN."
KatNicole
I'm proud of Canada because it's not the U.S, it is not England, it is not Australia, not China, not Russia, etc etc.. it's Canada. It's my home. It's the place I feel safe in. The place I identify myself in. It's in Canada that I learned how to live, learned how to love, the place that taught me to be proud of who I am. I have traveled to other countries (my boyfriend lives in The Netherlands, he's moving to Canada after university, So I go to Europe every so often), also been to the U.S, and it's just not home. Does it make Canada the best place on Earth? No, because there isn't a such thing as "best place on Earth", every country is unique, but it doesn't mean I can't be proud of the place I live and grew up in.
