Wanesia Misquadace is a member of the Fond du Lac, MN arm of the Ojibwe tribe. She has been doing SWAIA Indian Market for 5 years and is an accomplished jewelry designer in addition to being one of only about 10 people in North America who make birch bark biting art, a traditional form. Her jewelry is made with her bitings as inspiration. Paul Niemi of http://unclepauliesworld.blogspot.com had the opportunity to interview the very busy mom and artist while she was out and about at art openings in downtown Santa Fe for his series "The Road to Indian Market 2010." (Note: this series is not affiliated with SWAIA or SWAIA Indian Market)
