its been said many times, you will never ever ever replace george jones.. he was an true legend and the world still truly doesn't know how great of a loss he is to country music today, without george and hank and johnny cash, country music is pure shit.

This song is heartbreaking, especially for those who made the wrong choice and it would become what we had to live with for the rest of our lives.

To me, this is the best country song ever written cause it represents the life I chose with drugs and drinking and now I am paying for those mistakes. I used to listen to this song in my darkest hour and now I stand in the Light. Things are much better now thanks to God, Jesus, and the Spirit. All glory be to the Trinity but thank you George for the piece of your heart you left with us.

my ex fiance was an alcoholic and I think of her often, but was unable to live her life. All the rehab in the world won't help if you believe it's other people's fault you drink. I still miss her and the good times, but the bad was horrible. I do wish her the best.
