This is the third prototype (first public one) of my new K'nex ball machine. It centers around a computer-controlled overhead crane which covers my entire room. This early working model only has one path, but I plan to expand it to many paths soon. This machine uses about 8,000 pieces so far and only took a week to design and build, making it my fastest large-scale project thus far. It is all controlled by a single arduino, and uses 150 feet of wire and 70 feet of K'nex chain.
