One way to shut up a noise maker! Keep in mind I have a high RFI environment here especially lowband HF especially during the daytime. But I solved one menace. This "high speed internet" modem has been a plague on most of the HF bands but especially 80 meters. I tried an extra ground but it only quieted it a little. This Zenith Royal 3000-1 shell acts as a "Faraday Cage" enclosing the noise emission handily! Use any metal enclosure like this but be sure there remains adequate cooling for the modem. I even heard this emission on my MW radio in the livingroom! Not any more :) Hope this helps as a suggestion!
