'Twinkler' features an array of Light Dependant Resistors, an RGB/Gesture sensor, HC-SR04 Ultrasonic (sonar) and some nice analogue potentiometers and arcade buttons. Powered by an Arduino Mega2560.

LDRs trigger notes (range is dictated by light density) and then notes are scaled within Max and Ableton Live.

'Gripper' is powered by an Adafruit Circuit Playground (featuring a number of sensors and accelerometers) as well as Adafruit Flex sensors.

Here, 'Gripper' is being used as an effects controller. Flexing the index finger controls filter cutoff. The middle finger and accelerometers take care of 'repeats', 'time' and 'effect mix'.

Nb: With 'Twinkler' being a light controlled instrument, it operates at its best in the dark. Unfortunately my camera doesn't. I've calibrated the instrument to work in ambient daylight, but the results are much wilder and more pronounced in a darkened room.
