3 Irish and 5 South Africans make their way from Cairo to Cape Town (On push bikes!) to raise awareness and US$300,000 for the Millennium Promise village, Mbola in Tanzania.
Starting the epic journey in January 2008, the seven men and one lady have finally arrived in South Africa in July 2008 and at the Waterfront in Cape Town on Saturday the 19th July, 11am, to a large gathering of emotional family and friends.
This video is an extract from the complete journey (up to the half way point), focussing mainly on the village for which they are doing the cycle. The completed one hour version with all the pain, endurance, toil, laughs, sweat and blood, and ultimate joy will be televised in the near future.
