The Debate featured as guests Mahdi Darius Nazemroaya, geopolitical analyst and NATO expert, and Richard Weitz, a senior fellow and director of the Center for Political-Military Analysis at the Hudson Institute.
Both experts discussed the crisis in Ukraine and the roles that the West and Russia have played.
Nazemroaya made it clear that a coup in Ukraine was supported by the US and the European Union as a means of targeting the Russians.
"There should be no mistake about it that just like Syria has been used as a bridge to attack Iran in the future or to instigate something against Iran, the EU and the United States are using Ukraine to target Moscow and to get the Russians," Nazemroaya told The Debate.
