Today in the spotlight of the world media was once again North Korea. The influential Japanese newspaper Asahi Shimbun, citing informed sources in Washington reported that the US and China agreed to establish in South Korea, a hotline for information sharing on North Korea.
According to the publication, the parties intend to actively share information on the application of economic sanctions, and will also maintain communication between the defense departments of the two countries to keep North Korea at a constant sight.
The newspaper Asahi Shimbun claims that the above agreement between Washington and Beijing was reached during the official visit of Donald trump in Beijing on 9 November. The publication claims that allegedly during the talks, Chinese President XI Jinping said that Beijing would not allow North Korea's recognition as a nuclear power. The Chinese leader also reportedly said that "pressure on Pyongyang is necessary to continue until North Korea will not stop nuclear testing".
