I picked up a nice National NC-270 ham receiver recently and am enjoying listening to it, especially the single-side-band signals which or more problematic on my other radios. But it was interesting to me to compare how well AM amateur signals sound on the 270 as compared to one of my Zenith Transoceanics, an H500. I am impressed how good the ham AM signals sound on the Transoceanic. It is what we used to call "Angle Music!"
Of course the subject matter of this conversation leaves a lot to be desired!
