The Emptys playing Lisner Auditorium in Washington D.C. in December of 1994.
The Emptys were a rock band formed at George washington University in the early '90s and built around the songwriting skills of lead singer and guitarist Mitch Treger. Co-led by bassist Jeff Reich, the band also featured lead guitarist Doug Derryberry, saxophonist Peter "Dealbreaker" Fraize and drummer Leland Nakamura.
This gig was an opening slot for Hootie and the Blowfish, just before they blew up.
