"I'm a Health Worker": Abduaraman Gidi

Spend one minute with Abduaraman Gidi, a nurse who is passionate about saving the lives of mothers. He shares a story about one mother he helped and talks about the value of training and supportive supervision. Abduaraman Gidi works at Nifas Silk Lafto Health Center in Addis Ababa Region, Woreda 6, Ethiopia. His health center is among those supported by IntraHealth's Community Prevention of Mother-to-Child Transmission of HIV (CPMTCT) project, which has worked with the Government of Ethiopia to scale up, integrate, and improve the quality of PMTCT and maternal, newborn, and child health services. IntraHealth's Misigina Gebremedhin interviewed him at his workplace.
