Please join the Competitive Enterprise Institute for Human Achievement Hour, our annual celebration of human progress and advancements on Saturday, March 29, 2014, between 8:30 -- 9:30 p.m. (local time).

Human Achievement Hour is the counter argument to Earth Hour where participants symbolically renounce the environmental impacts of modern technology by turning off their lights for an hour. By contrast, Human Achievement Hour promotes the idea that we should look to technology and innovation to help solve environmental problems like developing more sustainable practices to help humans be more eco-friendly and better conserve our natural resources.

Instead of turning off your lights this Saturday, celebrate the human achievement that has improved your life, whether that means taking a shower, using a computer, listening to music, drinking a beer, or simply keeping your lights on for an hour.

Share how you are celebrating human achievement hour by tweeting @ceidotorg with the hashtag #HAH2014.
