Oxfam is proud to be an official partner of the London O2 Mela. On 19 August 2012, it's expected that 100,000 people will celebrate Asian culture in Gunnersby Park, West London. Amidst the music, dance and family picnics, we will be show casing Oxfam's long history of working in South Asia. www.londonmela.org

Oxfam is marking its 61st year in India this year. Our recent work in the region has included flood prevention in Bangladesh, projects in India www.oxfam.org.uk/assamfloods and working alongside Amir Khan to raise funds for schools in Pakistan. www.oxfam.org.uk/asia

There will also be an opportunity at the Oxfam tent for people to support those affected by the Assam floods in India as well as other projects.
