We had so much information in Part 1 that we couldn't cover it all so we had to do Part 2. This presentation will deal with the historical origins of negative depictions of African-Americans in the media and see how they are shown in the media over time. We'll also deal with statistics that are released that are designed to cause hysteria in the African-American Community such as: 70% of African-American women are Single. We'll show how this and other statistics are misrepresented to cause hysteria in the community and to further weaken us. It's time to start turning to one another and stop turning on one another.

Topics Will Include:

1) How excessive TV Watching damages the self-esteem of African-
American Children?

2) We'll deal some history of African-Americans in Movies and TV
especially our negative depictions.

3) The Negative Effects of Commercialized Hip-Hop

4) The Media's ATTACK on African-American Men

5) False information regarding our marriage rates, and single rates and
more, (i.e. 70% of African-American women are single or 42.7% of
African-American women have never been married, etc.)
