Can Othello be used to understand the pressures of interracial relationships today? Not only that, but how could it help understand the variety of difficulties faces by minorities today?
I grew up watching young men from minorities being pushed into a dark corners from the pressure and alienation around them.
Can Richard Twyman's Othello help explain to me why? I was invited to go watch and wanted to share it all with you!
Shakespeare, the historic playwright, was never considered part of my heritage, but do I leave thinking the same?
