I keep having to fix my landing gears. I managed to fix the front landing gear using brass tubing. I was originally going to use piano wire, but that stuff is so hard to bend and mold! It took me 4 hours to finally say screw it! So what I did, was use 2 pieces of brass tubing. One slips over the other for added strength at the base of the gear. For the bottom, I tried to reinforce the brass tubing where I crimped the corners by dropping epoxy down into the tube, hopefully it continues to hold. My main landing gear, however, keeps breaking at that one point... pretty soon what I am going to try is fitting a piece of brass tubing over it like a sleeve, but for right now I am going to keep using gorilla glue, I am also going to wrap it in some tape, so that, even if it does break... the rest of the plane won't get obliterated by scraping across the pavement.
