Donegal were delighted to retain the Ulster title at Clones yesterday, but wing-forward Mark McHugh insisted that they are not satisfied with just provincial success this year.

The 2-18 to 0-13 victory over Down marked the first time in Donegal's history that they had won back-to-back Anglo-Celt Cups.

"It means everything to us the players, the management team and even the supporters out there that have just been fantastic," McHugh said: "This has never been done in Donegal before."

But while the Tír Chonaill men will not be taking the provincial title for granted, the Kilcar clubman insisted they will be going all-out for All-Ireland glory this year.

Jim McGuinness' charges reached the semi-finals last year, but were pipped at that stage by eventual champions Dublin.

"We're going to take one game at a time," McHugh said.

"After this game, we're going to focus on whoever we get next. We don't know who we have next, but we're going to focus big time on it.

"We're going to enjoy the win. Back training probably tomorrow or the day after. We're going to really knuckle down for it."
