Swansea Science Café, September 2012 - Dylan Thomas Centre, Swansea (Wales, UK) - Supported by Swansea University and the EPSRC.

Professor Lyn Evans (CBE, FRS) is a world-renowned physicist, Fellow of the Royal Society -- and Swansea graduate.

Lyn led CERN's Large Hadron Collider project -- which recently discovered evidence of the Higgs boson particle -- and now directs CERN's new Linear Collider mission, which aims to push the frontier of particle physics even further.

Based in Switzerland, 'Evans the Atom' returned to Swansea in September 2012 to open new facilities in the College of Science, and to talk at the Swansea Science Café.
