temp reading taken on the outside of the stove. Don't worry about heat, you will get plenty. More then 10% flow through a 1/4" needle valve will run temps over 1000 degrees f. Fitting on top right of stove is from former gravity drip oil system. To much trouble with line coking and plugging, as well as incomplete combustion filling the stove with soot. The oil/air injection running here burns hot and clean if set right and is easy on oil. At shutdown the air is used to purge the oil line to prevent coking and also cools the nozzle.
